LANGUAGE OF COLOUR

The project explores the spectrum of aposematic patterns used by living organisms to communicate. Colours can conceal, warn, intimidate, or attract; and animal colours are so diverse both because these messages vary and because the animals receiving the messages perceive colours in different ways.

The perspex sheets act as microscope slides and invite interactive communication.
